Ingredients

·       1 cup of Millet Flakes

·       ¾ cup grated Jaggery / Palm sugar

·       2 green cardamoms

·       ½ cup desiccated coconut

·       ¼ cup ghee or milk

·       8 to Cashews

·       8 Raisins

 

Recipes

·       Dry Roast Aval till crunchy. Add coconut and fry little bit.

·       Take cardamoms and make a fine powder, add Jaggery and blend. Heat pan with ghee, add cashews fry till and add raisins.

·       Mix well everything and make balls. If using milk, replace ghee with milk for binding. Dry roast nuts and use.

·       Store flakes ladoo in air tight box.



Millet Flakes Payasam Recipe | Navratri Special !

Ingredients

·       Millet Flakes - 1 cup

·       Milk - 3 cups

·       Saffron - few

·       Jaggery or sugar - ½cup

·       Green cardamom powder - ½ tbsp

·       Cashew nuts - 7

·       Raisins - 6

·       Pistachio - 4

·       Almonds [sliced] - 3

·       Ghee - 3 tbsp


Preparation

·       Wash and soak Millet Flakes for 2 mins.

·       Heat ghee in a pan, roast cashew nuts, raisins, pistachios and almonds keep it aside.

·       In the same pan add milk, Millet flakes & cook till it becomes soft [approx 5 to 8 min]. Then add Jaggery or sugar mix well.

·       Add ghee roasted cashew nut, raisins, pistachio and almond slices.

·       Finally add cardamom powder & saffron then cut off heat. Serve hot or cold.
